Started by chef-turned-coffee roaster Andrew Barnett, Linea Caffe has been a quiet favorite in San Francisco’s coffee scene since 2013. Linea has two cafes, one in the Mission District and another in Potrero Hill – plus many awards from the likes of the Good Food Foundation for the beans it roasts in house. The drink menu tends to skew more to the purist, so you won’t find an extensive selection of dessert-like drinks. The no-frills coffee shop excels in keeping things simple – be sure to pick up a bag for home-brewing. There is seating out front to enjoy your coffee as well as any pastries they sell from Neighbor Bakehouse.
